The training program of professional development for employees of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was designed and conducted by teachers of the Ernst&Young Academy of Business with the support of USAID.
New staff was trained to communicate with the public during which a public official is primarily an assistant of people, to work in a team, to develop itself and subordinated employees as well as increase its’ motivation.
How was it until now? There are persons who don’t want to communicate with our citizens. You will have appointed them, and they close in the offices and not show up. Such kind of persons we should dismiss because they are our face in the regions. How you communicate with citizens, in this way they look at the Ministry of Justice, – said Gia Getsadze.
The Deputy Minister Gia Getsadze emphasized that these new employees who has come to the Ministry through independent competitions were tasked to implement this new philosophy of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
Such professional development training programs should be systematic for employees of the Ministry of Justice, – stressed the Deputy Minister.
The key to effective work of the state institutions in the interests of citizens is the professionalism of its employees. USAID Fair Justice Project is pleased to support the training of young talented specialists of the Ministry of Justice, who will introduce positive and innovative changes in the public service of Ukraine. This will improve services and as a result – increase public confidence to the state institutions as a whole, – said David Vaughn, the USAID Fair Justice Chief of Party.
In total, 72 people got training.
